This past year was extremely fulfilling one.  Through the entire club's efforts we initiated 11 new members into the club, continued our fundraising efforts by raising over $70,000 for local charities through The Great American Car Raffle and we won a Rotary International President's Citation for supporting Rotary International's Mission.

 

None of this could have been possible without the entire club making real and meaningful contributions of time, energy and money.  We improved our standing among clubs in the district and brought forward an exceptional candidate for the District 5150 International Scholarship Program. 

 

Our work with the Peninsula Sunrise Club supported bringing clean water to areas around the globe where the basic human right of clean drinking water isn't necessarily God given.  We aided the Palo Alto Club with their Global Grant to bring clean water and sanitation to Cameroon.  But one of the projects I'm most proud of is our Stop Hunger Now event that package 10,152 meals that feed hungry villagers in North Korea.

 

The impact of this club was felt on every continent on the globe and we made a substantial difference right here in our community.  Thanks for a great year!
